The Presbytery Committee for producing the Basis of Union will meet the Kirk Session at St Ninian's on the evening of Tuesday 14th September and the Kirk Session at St Andrew's on Wednesday 15th.
It is proposed to hold a meeting of both Kirk Sessions on the evening of 22nd September.
It is proposed to hold a meeting of the Congregation (and a vote on the Draft Basis of Union on 3rd October with the result being presented to a meeting of the Presbytery of England on Sat 16th October.
A name will need to be chosen for the new Congregation. So far we have suggestions, St Mark's, St Aidan's, St Margaret's, Trinity, 'St Andrew's and St Ninian's' and 'St Ninian's and St Andrew's'. The Kirk Session recommend that neither of the last two are chosen due to the length of the name. If you have an opinion please speak to your elder.
