Part of St. Ninian’s Church outreach into the community, is the visits to four of Corby’s Residential Homes once a fortnight, by members of the congregation. The homes are Seagrave and Glenmoor one week and Sandalwood and Willowbrook the next week. We have a short service followed by a singalong. We have a good attendance at all homes and everyone enjoys themselves. It is amazing how music and singing lifts the spirit so much so that even the residents with dementia remember the words of the old songs. God be praised.
St Ninian’s Church also have a connection with Home Start, Corby. And we host a family fun day once a year for them. Great fun is had by all with thanks to the dedicated staff of Home Start and volunteers from both Home Start and the Church.
