Members of St Ninian’s Church arrange visits to four of Corby’s Residential Homes. Fortnightly visits are made one week to Seagrave and Glenmoor, the other week Sandalwood and Willowbrook.
We have a short service followed by a singalong. There is a good attendance from the residents and everyone enjoys themselves.
It is amazing how music and singing lifts the spirit, even the residents with dementia remember the words of the old songs. God be praised.
St Ninian’s Church also have a connection with Home Start, Corby. And we host a family fun day once a year for them. Great fun is had by all with thanks to the dedicated staff of Home Start and volunteers from both Home Start and the Church.
